The conceptualization and design of an interior-focused magazine's cover and spreads

Lofted Magazine, an interior-focused magazine, explores all things innovative and creative in the home design world. Creating the concept, name, brand voice, articles, and overall visual design of the magazine, I was tasked with creating not just a magazine, but an editorial identity. Only a few introduction pages of print were created - the table of contents, the main spread featured on the cover, and a sample column article.

The overall color palette for the fall edition of Lofted creates warm and inviting visuals; the muted tones all together create a calming appearance for the viewer, being cut with a pop of bright yellow to keep your attention. The illustrations and graphics call attention to the edition’s theme of digital design while still relating to the magazine’s genre of home interior.
